Getting Outdoorsy

It was a wonderfully warm Saturday so we headed out for some outdoor fun. Abby's favorite part was the playground and despite the look on her face in some of these pictures she had a great time!

Winter Fun

We ended up getting a good deal of snow this week. Here are some shots of the backyard.

This was Abby's first big snow. Since this only happens once a year here we took advantage and got outside as much as possible.

After a day of sledding it was time to kick back and put hats on the dog.

Getting Ready for the Storm

We enjoyed a few days of nice weather last week and were able to get out of the house for a photo shoot and wagon ride.

Mostly we've been stuck inside since it's too cold for little girls. Abby loves to make use of our window seats though.
She needs those seats for a rest after her new favorite game... Chase Brodie With A Shopping Cart! I think they both love it.

She heard snow was headed our way.

Dance Party

Here's a clip of Abby dancing to the Mexicana channel on TV. She loves music and can really move. Sorry for the poor quality, I had to compress the video to post it.

Where's the Elephant?

For the past month or so Abby's been learning animals. She's got a few books and can recognize more than 30 (the main ones from the zoo and farm). She also does monkey, elephant, lion, and doggie impressions. We'll try to catch those on camera. Here's what I was able to get of her pointing to animals before the memory card got too full.

Abby also loves her new wagon. She and Caroline like to play with dolls in it. Abby's gotten quite good at giving her doll some milk, some food, a hug and kiss... and then throwing her on the floor.

Merry Christmas

We're a little late posting but, the holidays were great. We got to spend time with family and friends and we got to watch Abby open some presents. She really wasn't that into it. She does love her new chair.
She liked the paper mostly.


Abby was pretty tired after all that celebrating.
We didn't get any pictures of the Christmas at the grandparents but, we'll be adding some that others took soon.
